The 55 million tonnes per annum Roy Hill operation represents the next generation of integrated iron ore mine, rail and port projects to be developed in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.

Roy Hill is seeking experienced Mining Supervisors to lead their production teams to ensure daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly production targets are met whilst providing direct supervision to the mining teams you will be accountable for.

Reporting to a Superintendent Mining, these positions will be based at the Roy Hill Mine site and will provide leadership and direction to the production teams, in addition to some of the following key responsibilities:Ensuring the daily mining tasks are carried out in accordance with the daily shift plans.Directly supervise and mentor your Mining Teams, displaying at all times our values and behaviours.Ensuring a high level of collaboration between the mining team and mine planning, demand chain planning and execution team.
As the ideal candidate, you will have extensive experience working as a Shift Supervisor within a large scale owner operated mining environment.
You will have significant experience operating large production mining equipment. Additional qualifications in Training & Assessing and Frontline Management will be highly regarded.
We’re seeking influential people leaders who can lead and care for teams, along with the ability to motivate a workforce to achieve KPI’s and high levels of mine production excellence.
You will have exceptional organisational skills with the ability to plan, schedule and organise your work priorities to meet multiple and often competing deadlines.
Your strength in establishing and nurturing effective relationships across a range of internal and external teams will be critical to your success.
