About the Role

Techforce are currently seeking a full time, FIFO Field Service Technician based in Perth WA and working a 15/6 roster. The primary objective of this role is to provide Operation, Maintenance and Repair support to customers for Power Generation / Co-Generation assets, including Jenbacher Gensets and other types of facility assets.
Key Accountabilities include:

  • Commissioning, servicing and repairing gas-powered generators, and other capital equipment and balance of plant systems as required.
  • Attend call outs, provide remote tech assistance when / as required.
  • Successfully specify spare parts and maintaining adequate stocks and records.
  • Provide daily, weekly & monthly reports or as per request on station operations and maintenance.
  • Liaising, when required with clients and subcontractors regarding commissioning, servicing and repairs.

Skills and Experience
  • Mechanical Trade qualifications (Essential)
  • Current unrestricted Drivers Licence (Essential)
  • Previous Power Station experience or experience with heavy reciprocating machinery. (Highly Desirable).
  • Power Generation Equipment experience (Highly Desirable).
  • Rotating Equipment experience. (Highly Desirable)
  • Computer Literate, experienced and capable to use windows-based Office suite. (Word, Excel & Power Point)
  • Full in-house product and procedure training will be provided.
